Autumn

As I think I have mentioned before, Autumn is my favorite season. Sometimes I question myself on that statement when the frost is all starting to melt away, and spring is starting to bring the earth back to life again. After all, one of my favorite quotes is "No winter lasts forever, no spring skips it's turn."

But for me, Winter and Summer don't even rival it. They are of course both very beautiful in their own different ways. In summer, everything is green (well, It's supposed to be anyway) and you can lay outside in shorts and a T-shirt, and just enjoy looking at the stars. And in Winter the air is fresh, and their is always that beautiful feeling that you can feel when Christmas is coming, or that it has left behind. That wonderful reminder of our Saviors birth, and that he lived, and still does.

But to me, Autumn leaves them all behind, and I forget them all as I look in awe upon the earth in it's most glorious splendor. Everything seems more colorful in Autumn. The leaves all change colors, the sky is more blue, and I get to layer all of my favorite clothes( scarfs, long striped socks, plums, chocolates, etc...) to make the perfect outfit and I won't get hot!

But the thing that I love most about it is the feeling I get when I breath in the fresh Autumn air. It makes me feel simply glad to be alive. It's a time to reflect on the past, enjoy the present to it's fullest, and look forward to the future. And I know this sounds crazy, but I like starting school again. The only subject that I really, really, don't like is math.

Well I guess this post is long enough, I just wanted to express a little bit of how happy I am that it's fall!

I think Autumn is my favorite too, with spring being a close runner up. I love winter too. I think it is beautiful, and I don't usually worry about the cold, because I am quite spoiled.
