Agony and Love
What joy I feel, yet sorrow too, does press upon my heart.
He died for me, and all my pain He knows.
He calls me friend, He loves me! All blessings He imparts.
I can not understand why such love He shows.
Why did He such a burden bear for one as low as me?
It makes me glad to know He did, but still I wonder why.
Why should He care for one so small as I, when I neglect to think of Him, ever wonderful is He?
What perfect love! Oh, what agony he felt for us!
My heart doth wane,
Torn between such joy, and yet such pain.
My Dearest Lord, I love Thee so and rejoice to know Thou lovest me. But oh, I would that I could ease Thy burden,
Take away the suffering my sins did cause.
Whenever choice comes upon me, I will pause and think…
Remember Thee I will, oh Lord and say:
“What sin am I about to do, that He will have to pay?”

Not much, but it expresses my true feelings and gratitude for what our Savior did for me. I hope it gives you a little reminder to remember those feelings you have, or helps you create some.

I love the poem Tiff. I think it is beautiful. I'm going to save a copy of it. It amazes me when people can write such nice things.

Wow, you have SO MANY TALENTS! They are all visual talents, too! I mean, so far from blogging, I've learned you can play the piano, you draw (and/or paint) BEAUTIFULLY, and now the writing... Your family definately got the Talent-Show genes! And I just read your cute comment on my blog. You TOTALLY are allowed to laugh! :)
