High School!

So, I have been home-schooled for almost my entire life. I went to public school for a little while in first grade, and a little while in sixth grade. I never went to junior high (unless you count seminary), and I have never been to high school (unless you count seminary).

This year (my junior year) I have decided to try it again, but only part time. !!!!!!!!

So, I am now registered, and yes, I am going. Tomorrow...!!!! =P

I am only doing even days (every other day) and only four classes. Choir, English, Art, and of course Seminary. I already have my funny ID tag that I'll have to wear all the time, and a book with school rules, class descriptions, a map, etc... I don't think I'll need the map much because it's a pretty small school, and I do have friends who can help me out if I need.

I admit that I am way nervous! So please pray for me!

How exciting and nerve racking all at once for you to be going back to public school. And not only public school...HIGH school!
I really loved my time in high school. Even though it was like 13 years ago, it feels like yesterday. I remember I always had to be on my toes because there is a lot of negativity out there. There is also so much bad language that it just threw me for a loop! But do as they say, sing a hymn and you'll get it right out of your head.
Stay strong and continue to be the great girl you are. You will have a nice time in high school because of your positive outlook on life and the good choices you make!
Keep us posted on how it goes, ok?

Thank you everyone. =)
Aunt Mel I will be very careful about which "variety" of boys I spend any time with. There are many who I don't care for. But of course I have thought about it.

Negativity and bad language are things that I have prepared myself for. But of course I'll be careful. Thanks for reminding me about the hymn.

Nate, I do not think that I am more courageous than you. Just in a different way from you. I really hope I get something out of it, and I will try my best to be a good example.

I will post more about it soon.

Tiff-
Can't wait to hear how your first day of high school went!
I know you will do great and what fun classes you will be taking there.
Lots of memories to be made in school too! Enjoy your time there and just remember who you are! Sounds like you are on the right track and have great friends to help you along the way as well as your family!
We will keep you in our prayers! Loves!

Tiffany,

You will do awesome and you will be a great boost to the highschool. They need girls like you!
I can understand being nervous, but you've already got the half the battle won by deciding on and determining your values and where you draw the line. I'm proud of you thanks for being such a great example to my family.
