Lots of different things....

Ok, so there are quite a few things that I want to talk about. The first one is- the tag that my mom did. This is the fourth picture in my fourth file. Buddy dog being weird. Hehe, funny. So I tag: Christi (my friend), Cody, and anyone else who wants to. The second and more exciting thing is..... drum-roll.... I no longer have braces!!! Yep, I got them off on Wednesday. I was going to not say anything to my friends and just wait for them to notice, but I was to excited about it to keep quiet, so I just told most of them.
I now have a wire (retainer) permanently glued to my front bottom teeth. It's funny and I play with it a lot. And I am going to get my other retainer in two weeks. It will be pink with bright green polka dots. =D

Alrighty, next thing. Just to let you all know, school went much better the second day. I was still way nervous, and only using half a brain (or so it seemed). And my art class still scares me. I did meet my teacher. She was pretty much very nice to me. Right off she commented my hair-cut, and a awesome pink and gold clay pendant that I got at an antique fair in England. [ It is round with beads and sparkly things stuck in it and is really unusual. I couldn't think of a way to turn it into jewelry, so I tied it onto my book bag with a blue polka dotted ribbon.] However.... .. .... She does seem kind of crazy, and I think she is going to be a tough teacher and require a lot of me. I have a hard time understanding what she is telling us to do. She'll start talking, then think of something else and start talking about that instead. I was listening to her (and not completely understanding anyway) and then I kinda stopped listening, then I started listening again and she was talking about something completely different. Anyway, it still scares me, but at least I was pretty much in a good mood when I got home that day, not a depressed one.
There is something else I was going to post about , and I can't remember what......... Well I can't remember what it was. But, just FYI gmail now has adorable little smiley inserts that you can put into your emails! I can't tell you how excited I was to see those. Smile (that one is from Smiley Central).
Oh yeah! I remember what I was going to post. I found a really great quote and I wanted to share it with y'all:
"We are sometimes so anxious about our personal images, when it is His image we should have on our countenances." ~Elder Neal A. Maxwell
Isn't that wonderful? Very deep and beautiful. It was a good reminder for me. I don't need to worry about what other people think of me, but I do need to be an example of a righteous follower of Christ. We all do.

Very nice quote.
great that you got your braces off, Kai is going to be getting them soon, were they terrible to wear?

Yeah, it's really great.

The tag is that you post the fourth picture from your fourth album. A fun and easy one that I've never seen before.

No, they are not terrible. You just get tired of them after a while, and they can be a pain to take care of. But worth it.
Yeah I guess it will be good for me to have to work a little. Instead of drawing only what I want to draw I'll have to stretch myself and do what she tells me to do. Thanks

I just visited your blog for the first time. It's really great to see what you have been up to and a little more about yourself. I'm glad that your second day of school went a little better--and those lockers are tricky--especially if you've never used one before. I had to take a while to teach Josh and Aaron how to use one before school started. It took them some time to get used to.

Tiff, Congrats on getting the braces off! I remember when I got mine off. It was so wonderful to feel smooth teeth, and have a pretty smile. Your smile is gorgeous! And so are you.

I'm glad school is going better for you.

I want to see a picture of the clay pendant that you got from England. It sounds pretty.

And I love the quote. I'm saving that one.

Tiffany,

I am SO glad that you came over to Rosehaven Cottage and left a comment so I could come over here to your blog and "meet" you as well as feel of your testimony. Elder Neal A. Maxwell was a favorite apostle of mine before he passed away. I love his books. Hope you have a good Monday!

Hugs,
Cindy at Rosehaven Cottage

Miss Tiff, what a beautiful smile you have.

I remember my teeth feeling really huge and slimy when I got my braces off. I also thought everyone would notice, but only one random girl that I didn't know very well noticed. I also have one of those crazy permanent retainers in on my bottom teeth. It's annoying to floss around it, but make sure you do... ten years down the road you will thank yourself!

Keep smiling pretty girl!!

You're beautiful, Tiff, with those pearly whites showing. (of course, you're beautiful all the time!) Getting braces off and wanting people to notice is like when a guy shaves off his moustache--people know something is different about the person but just can't figure out what at first. Anyway, keep being the wonderful young lady and great student you are and you'll be successful in all you do! Love you, Tiff Grandma Terry
