My life, and my art

Well I have two weeks off of school for Christmas break! YAY! And I am very excited for the rest of this month. I am planning on having a lot of fun during the break.

Here are some of the things I have worked on in my art class.... There is a life sized man sculpted from wrapping paper in our classroom. He even has a paper tie and iPod. His name is Edward. We just started doing charcoal. So here is a charcoal sketch of Edward done by me. (he is sitting in a chair that we also have to draw often.) Oh yeah, and this is drawn on a really big paper about half my size. (it along with charcoal was intimidating.)
This is an ink wash. My very first painting ever in india ink.

I like the apple....

Here is my second one. I don't like the composition as much, but I think I did much better on this one.

Here's a cool photo-shopped version!

So anyway, hope you all enjoy seeing my progress. I still have a long way to go.

Oh, those are cool! I've never drawn/painted with india ink... is it like watercolor? (since that's what the final product looks like)

Ah... we've gotta get together sometime during Christmas break!!

Thank you everyone. =)

Yes Trav we TOTALLY should hang out!

Christi, yes it is like watercolor, but a much more thin consistency. It is like water almost. It would be cool to do something together. After x-mas probably.
