While doing it in class I decided that I did not really like painting, and that drawing was more for me. But during the summer I have decided to give it another chance. Lately I have been doing some watercolor painting, and after I have done that for a while I will try acrylic again. I don't know if I will ever try oil paints again, but maybe . . . . So when I go back to my Advanced Art class this upcoming year I will be prepared for whatever painting projects my crazy teacher has in store for us, and I may even enjoy doing them. So far I am having fun with the painting I have been doing. Mrs. S would be proud of me. :)
And, I have decided (as decided as I can be for now) that in college I want to major in art. I love it, it is something I am willing to work very hard at, and it is something that I think I can get really good at with some work. The world will always need art, and because every person is different we need all kinds to make everyone happy.
When I have some good finished paintings to show I will post them here. They are mostly just practice, so don't be too judgmental towards them.
Just a reminder to everyone: Take time to practice your talents, share your gifts, and do the things you love to do!

Tiffany, I like the painting very much. I'm glad you are developing your painting talents. I think painting is pretty fun. I wish I would have learned how to paint. Maybe one day I can take a class, just for the fun of it.
I love your dino pic! It turned out so great! I hope that Mr. Pinedo puts it up where you can see it. He will if he's smart.
great painting!!! good luck in whatever you choose to do!
That Dinosaur is awesome!
You should come to my church on Monday nights & Friday afternoons - we're doing all kinds of acrylic paintings of dinosaurs & other animals to decorate for VBS - it would be good practice for you and a fun chance for us to get together!
