My Wedding Flowers

Hello everyone. I thought today I would show you all my wedding bridal bouquet and groom's boutonniere. I had help making tons of paper flowers, and then chose my favorites to make my bouquet. I arranged them a little at a time, wrapping floral tape as I went. I also have some buttons, ribbon, and curly wire in there. Then I wrapped it in yellow and white ribbons to cover the the wire stems from hurting my hands and being ugly.

For his boutonniere I picked a blue flower (his favorite color) and used brown and red Crayola markers to ink up the ends of the petals. I carefully sprayed it with water and used my finger to help the color run and blend. I added two wire twigs, and a brown ribbon to the back and a little green bow to the front. I glued it all together, wrapped it in tape, and curled the wire.

There will be other paper flowers at the reception. I have an inexpensive and beautiful bridal bouquet that is very personal, and a flower for my man that I made myself. And I don't have to worry about them staying fresh. :D
