BANANA BREAD

Today was a rather lazy day for me. I pretty much didn't do anything. However there are two things that me feel alright about the day anyways. First of all, for the first time in my life, I made banana bread. :D
I was ridiculously excited about it, and so I am going to take you through the process.
First of all, here is the mess I left behind. Not too bad I think, but even still my kitchen could look better.

I thought the bread looked extremely beautiful while it was baking in my glass pan. I could hardly keep from just sitting in front of the oven and watching it.

I tried to stay busy, but I couldn't do much while I was so distracted, and I could always here my timer ticking away.

A little self-portrait of me trying to distract myself. I have become addicted with the cooking channel. I never thought that would happen to me. . ..

Finally it was done! Isn't it lovely?!

I was too impatient to wait for it to cool before dumping it out, so the bottom tore and it fell apart a little bit.

It still looked nice once I flipped it over.

I cut off the end, grabbed some butter, and ate it warm right then and there.
I must say it was very yummy banana bread. :) :D That was the end of my cooking for the day though. We had a frozen pizza for dinner. Haha.

The second thing that made my day: When Jordon came home from work today, he ignored all of the mess, looked at me with a big smile, and exclaimed "my wife!" while pulling me into a big hug.

p.s. I finally figured out how to make my photos larger. Haha! Silly me. I have been bothered by it for a long time and the solution was so simple.
