Crafty me!

This is a doll that I made my mom for mothers day. I wanted to give her something special. I was a bit surprised that it turned out so well especially because I don't really know how to sew, and I made up the pattern myself. I'm pretty proud of it(not to brag).
I love to craft, although I haven't done much of it lately. I like to make jewelry, sculpt with clay, scrapbook, and pretty much anything else that's crafty. I love expressing myself through arts (I also draw and paint) and crafts. It makes me happy to be able to create beautiful things, and use them to make myself and others happy. I have never had lessons in any art or craft subject but I like to figure things out for myself. Maybe I need to learn to be more humble and let someone teach me, but I've always hated being told how to do something. My mom(when I told her I didn't want piano lessons) told me I should try and be more meek.
I suppose I could go farther with my talents If I let people teach me, but I do them for enjoyment, and I enjoy teaching myself and seeing how I improve by looking at what I do right and wrong and then doing better next time.
Besides, I don't want to be an artist or anything like that, or I might take take lessons more seriously.
