Choice

Hello everyone. I know I've been posting more than usual. But I wanted to share this poem with you all. =D

Choice
By Tiffany Preston©

Early in the morning your clock rings;
Today on your to-do list are many things.
“Get up! Get up!” It seems to shout.
But the bed is warm, you don’t wanna get out.
The choice is yours.

Later in the day with friends you’re talking.
And then a girl you know comes walking.
Others then about her start to whisper.
What now? Join, stay, speak or disappear?
The choice is yours.

Then, how fun, you’re shopping at the mall!
Clothes, make-up, shoes, you need it all.
You know you like the gorgeous red one more;
But is it modest? Are you really sure?
The choice is yours.

Now you’re home, and oh, how sweet is peace!
But no, your brothers come. “Does noise never cease?”
You’re mostly good, so this time you could strike.
Mother does know just what they are like.
The choice is yours.

Now your day is over, many choices past.
Still there remains one, one last;
It’s but a small one, to pray or not to pray.
But as it’s small can not it wait for day?
The choice is yours.

Your choices made have made your attitude.
Have warnings heeded filled you with gratitude?
You know what things are wrong and what are right.
So though the enemy will always fight;
It’s your choice.

You always have such cute thoughts down the side of your blog. I always LOVE them. I type up the Relief Society bulletin each week, and so I'm going to use some of these thougts when we have extra space... Is that okay? :)

Miss Tiff, what a great poem. Some choices seem so small and inconsequential (however that's spelled) but some small choices really do make a world of difference.

One more thing, How do you get the different colors of your fonts? Are you using HTML for that? And if you are, what is the code?
